~*t o ,- MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED JUNE 2, 2009 Present: President of Council Kennedy, Council Members Barker, Brossard, Gareau, Kearney, Mahoney, Orlowski Also Present: Mayor O'Grady, Law Director Dubelko, Finance Director Copfer, Clerk of Council Seman Absent: Council Member Dailey Jones President Kennedy called the meeting to order at 8 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance as led by the Scout Honorary Officials. The minutes of the Council meeting of May 19, 2009 were approved as written. President Kennedy announced the following legislation would be considered for passage under suspension of the rules: second reading, Ordinance 2009-60; first reading, Resolution 2009-70. President Kennedy announced that Council will be on vacation the month of July. President Kennedy introduced the Scout Honorary Officials Chairpersons Linda DeMarco and Christie Kort who came forward to introduce Mr. & Mrs. Scouting for 2009 and the 2009 Scout Honorary Officials: Mrs. Scouting, Kathy Bell from Troop 791,, and Mr. Scouting, Todd Musial from Pack 332, came forward and were congratulated by members of Council and the administration. Mayor O'Grady presented Mrs. Bell and Mr. Musial with proclamations in honor of their outstanding achievements and dedicated service to Scouting and the community. Mrs. Bell and Mr. Musial were recognized by all present. The 2009 Scout Honorary Officials were introduced: Michael Behrendt, Troop 664 Connor Wollenzier, Troop 204 Christopher Wheatley, Troop 204 Brian Beatrez, Troop 664 Andy Heinzman, Troop 664 Annemarie Balfe, Troop 642 Community Life Services Director Planning Director Human Resources Director Service Director Safety Director Finance Director
