'`
Council Minutes of 5/19/2009
Mayor O'Grady said he would echo that and make the point that this is not regionalism-
it is a water monopoly. It is the city of Cleveland with the Cleveland City Council that
has the authority to determine rates, and the treatment of the suburbs. This is wrong. It is
time to stand up and let all of our voices be heard and continue to look at what reasonable
alternatives might be available for our citizens.
Mr. Pangrac said he thinks it's time we take a proactive position and continue our march
with the city of Westlake and anybody else who wants to join us to leave the city of
Cleveland.
