Resolution No. 2009-13 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2009-14 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into aone-year renewal contract with TAC <br />Computer Inc. in order to provide maintenance and repair services to computer hardware <br />and software in the North Olmsted Fire Department and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Kearney moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings noting the <br />legislation had been heard in committee. Resolution No. <br />2009-14 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2009-17 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance dispensing with an RFQ process and authorizing the Mayor to retain and <br />enter into a contract with Squire, Sanders & Dempsey L. L. P. to provide certain legal <br />services as bond counsel in connection with the city's 2009 general obligation bond <br />anticipation note financing, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2009-18 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $1,145,000 of notes, in anticipation <br />of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of improving certain designated streets in the <br />city, in cooperation with the Director of Transportation of the State of Ohio anc' <br />Cuyahoga County and otherwise, by grading, draining, constructing, reconstructing and <br />rehabilitating the pavement base, curbs and sidewalks and adjusting, rehabilitating and <br />reconstructing catch basins, manholes and water valve boxes, where necessary, preparing <br />the surface and surfacing and resurfacing, in each case together with the necessary <br />appurtenances and work incidental thereto, and declaring an emergency. Councilman <br />Gareau, chairperson of the Finance Committee, noted he was in receipt of the Fiscal <br />Officer's Certificate. <br />Ordinance No. 2009-19 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $900,000 of notes, in anticipation of <br />the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of improving Clague Road and certain other <br />designated streets in the city by preparing the surface and resurfacing with asphaltic <br />concrete, together with the necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto, and <br />declaring an emergency. Councilman Gareau, chairperson of the Finance Committee, <br />noted he was in receipt of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. <br />Ordinance No. 2009-20 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $1,010,000 of notes, in anticipation <br />of the issuance of bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of improving Dover Center Road <br />and certain other designated streets in the city, in cooperation with Cuyahoga County and <br />otherwise, by constructing, reconstructing and rehabilitating the pavement base, storm <br />sewers, storm water drainage structures, curbs, curb ramps and sidewalks, where <br />necessary, preparing the surface and resurfacing, in each case together with the necessary <br />14 <br />
