Council Minutes of 2/17/2009 <br /> <br />Brad Wilhelm, 126 Monroe Street, Elyria, is a colleague of Ms. Bowden and wished to <br />support the ordinance she proposed. Also, he noted that in cities such as Baltimore; Ft. <br />Worth, Texas; Seattle, Washington; and the entire state of California, there akeady are <br />laws in effect which ban the chaining of dogs for a long period of time. <br />Councilman Kearney asked if there was something urgent going on in our city right now. <br />Ms. Bowden, said there is a dog on Selhurst Road that was chained out.
