.~;,... <br />I <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0, 80-88 <br />PAGE 2. <br />SECTION 2: That this Council does hereby urge the Congress <br />of the Unite States and the President of the United States to <br />expeditiously pass and enact into law the "American Tax Reduction <br />Act" of 1980. <br />SECTION 3: That the Clerk of Council be and is hereby <br />authorize~c a~irected to forward a copy of this Resolution to the <br />President of the United States, Senators Glenn and Metzenbaum, and <br />Congressman Mottl. <br />SECTION 4: That this Resolution is declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public welfare, and for the further reason that the matter is <br />presently before the Congress of the United States and should be <br />acted upon prior to its Fall Recess, and further provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />FLORENCE CAMPBELL, CLERK OF COUNCIL DEWEY H.
