.' <br />@~ <br />AGREEMENT <br />FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES <br />Project Number <br />~. <br />x <br />THIS AGREEMENT made this day of in the <br />year Nineteen Hundred and Eighty (1980), by and between: <br />City of North Olmsted, Ohio <br />5206 Dover Center Road <br />North Olmsted, Ohio -44070 <br />(hereinafter referred to as "City") <br />and <br />Dalton~Dalton~Newport Inc <br />3605 Warrensville Center Road <br />Cleveland, Ohio 44122 <br />(hereinafter referred to as "Dalton"} <br />WITNESSETH, that it is the intention of the City to perform <br />a Sewer System Evaluation Survey under regulation of U.S. <br />Public Law 92-500 as amended (hereinafter referred to as <br />"Project"): <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City and Dalton agree as set forth as <br />follows: <br />ARTICLE 1, DALTON'S SERVICE <br />1.1 Basic Services <br />1.1.1 As the first step, Dalton will prepare field maps <br />of the sewer system and establish the districts coordinated <br />with the results of the Inflow/Infiltration study. All <br />existing notes and data .provided Dalton from previous smoke <br />testing and internal inspections will be reviewed and used <br />to maximum extent. <br />1.1.2 Using the collected data, the maps will be field <br />verified through a walk-over survey to confirm direction of <br />flow, boundaries of the districts, location of overflows, <br />bypasses and potential cross connection. <br />1.1.3 A physical survey of the system will be conducted. <br />A detailed inspection will be made of the system; data <br />sheets will be made; manholes will be inspected, and sewers <br />inspected from the manholes. The drainage areas to be <br />surveyed are identified as Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 12, 13, <br />14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 in Section 7.1 of the North <br />Olmsted Facility Plan Report, May, 1980. The total length <br />of sanitary sewer to be surveyed will be 356,000 linear <br />feet. <br />DHS:lss 04/25/80 <br />3500910 <br />
