~., <br />CIfiY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 80-66 <br />PAGE Z. <br />SECTION 3: That the City of North Olmsted will provide <br />refuse picc-up service for single family residential structures, <br />multi-family residential structures and commercial establishments <br />in accordance with the following regulations: <br />A. Single Family Residential <br />The City will provide refuse pick-up service for <br />single family residences in accordance with schedules <br />and regulations adopted by the Department of Public <br />Service. All refuse shall be placed in either 20 <br />gallon containers or plastic bags or other containers <br />acceptable to the Director of Public Service. Said <br />containers when full shall not exceed 60 pounds each <br />in weight and shall be placed along the dedicated <br />right-of-way or right-of-way to be dedicated in the <br />future, prior to the time of scheduled collection. <br />B. Multi-family Residential <br />The City will provide refuse pick-up service for <br />multi-family residential structures provided that <br />the owner or agent of the owner shall first pay to <br />the City One Dollar ($1.00) per week per dwelling <br />unit in advance, payable quarterly, for said service. <br />All refuse shall be placed in either 20 gallon con- <br />tainers or plastic bags or other containers acceptable <br />to the Director of Public Service. Each dwelling unit <br />shall be limited to four (4) containers, which con- <br />tainers when full shall not exceed 60 pounds each in <br />weight, and all containers shall be placed along the <br />side of dedicated right-of-way or right-of-way to be <br />dedicated in the future, prior to the time of scheduled <br />collection. <br />C. Commercial Establishments <br />The City will provide refuse pick-up service for <br />commercial establishments provided that the commercial <br />establishment shall first pay to the City Three Dollars <br />($3.00) per week per establishment, in advance, payable <br />quarterly, for said service. All refuse shall be placed <br />in either 20 gallon containers or plastic bags, or other <br />containers acceptable to the Director of Public Service. <br />Each establishment shall be limited to four (4) con- <br />tainers, which containers when full shall not exceed <br />60 pounds each in weight, and all containers shall be <br />placed along the side of the dedicated right-of-way <br />or right-of-way to be dedicated in the future, prior <br />to the time of scheduled collection. <br />SECTION 4: That the Director of Public Service shall notify <br />all indivi uals or corporations wahin the classifications specified <br />in Section 2(B) and (C) of this Ordinance, and it shall be the duty <br />of all of the individuals or corporations so notified to pay to the <br />Director of F~.nance of the City of North_Olmsted the advance quarterly <br />payment as specified in Section 3(B) and (_C) hereof. In the event <br />the Director o£ Finance does not receive the required payment, the <br />Director of Public Service shall direct the Service Department to <br />refrain from providing refuse pick.-up service to those who neglected <br />to pay the proper amount. <br />SECTION 5: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in <br />conflict~ierew~ are hereby repealed. <br />
