<br /> <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />BY: <br />ORDINANCE N0. 80 - 61 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 943.06 <br />OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES ENTITLED <br />"INDIVIDUAL GRAVE PRICE" OF CHAPTER <br />943 ENTITLED "CEMETERIES;' AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, this Council has determined that the existing <br />rate schedule for the purchase of grave sites is totally inadec{uate, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to increase <br />the cost of grave sites to reflect the present day economic <br />conditions. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That Section 943.06 of the Codified Ordinances <br />of the City o North Olmsted entitled '"Individual Grave Price" <br />of Chapter 943 entitled "Cemeteries" which presently reads as <br />follows: <br />"943.06 INDIVIDUAL GRAVE PRICE. <br />The City shall charge and receive fifty dollars ($50.00) <br />for individual graves in Coe Ridge and Butternut Ridge <br />Cemeteries." <br />Be and the same is hereby amended and as amended shall read as <br />follows: <br />"943.06 INDTVIDUAL GRAVE PRICE. <br />The City shall charge-and receive one hundred fifty dollars <br />($150.00) for individual graves in Coe Ridge and Butternut <br />Ridge Cemeteries."' <br />SECTTON 2: That Section 943.06 of the Codified Ordinances <br />as previously~a op-ted, be and th_e same is hereby repealed, together <br />with. any other ordinance or Harts of ordinances inconsistent here.- <br />with. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that <br />it is immediately necessary to reflect the economic conditions <br />of today's economy, and further provided it received the affirmative <br />vote of two-thirds o£ all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~~_ /~, ~9~ <br />ATTEST: <br />Fl rence Camp ell, Cler o Council <br />----_, <br />PRO D : ~~~~ l ~ . 1 ~ ~~ <br />~. <br />L~~, /O <br />De ey Lampert, P esi ent <br />of Council <br />First reading: 3~ go <br />Second reading: <br />s Third reading: <br />obert W. 5wietynlowsKl,tMay <br />
