TY OF NORTH ...~;i,STED -r' Q INANCE N0. 80-36 ~.'- PACE 4. :.~, ~~; SECTION 11: That the following salary ranges are hereby established for various employees in the Budget and Management Department: A. Director $12,000.00 - $21,000.00 Annually B. The Secretary shall be compensated in accordance with the schedule established in Section 4 hereof. C. The Clerk shall be compensated in accordance with the schedule established in Section 4 hereof. D. The individual salaries to be paid to the employees of the Department of Budget and Management as specified in Subsections A through C hereof shall be established by the Mayor. SECTION 12: The salary ranges established herein, except for those dealing with electe o _icials shall be effective retroactively to January 1, 1980. Salaries specified in this Ordinance shall be paid by the Finance Director on a bi-weekly basis. SECTION 13: The Foremen and Dispatcher listed in Section 6 and 7 hereof will be pai time and one-half of their straight time rates of pay for hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours in any one day and time and one-half of their straight time rate of pay for hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours in any one work week. SECTION 14: That all full-time .Administrative Personnel having completed five (5) years o ull-time continuous service, as employees of said departments, shall be paid an additional four percent (40) of their base annual salary; thereafter until completion of the tenth (10th) ,year of full-time continuous service, after which such employee shall receive five percent (5 a) of their base annual salary; thereafter until the completion of their fifteenth (15th) year of full-time continuous service, such employee shall get six percent (6%) of their base annual salary until after the completion of the twentieth (20th) year of full-time continuous service, and during each year of full-time service thereafter they shall receive seven percent (70) of their base annual salary as longevity increments. SECTION 15: That all full-time Administrative Personnel listed within this Ordinance shall receive the following holidays off, unless required to work by their Supervisor or the Mayor in emergencies, and shall receive regular rate of pay: New Year's Day; President's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanks- giving Day; Christmas Day; the employee's birthday; and floating holiday. SECTION 16: That all full-time Administrative Personnel listed within this Ordinance s all e entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule: 1 to 5 Years inclusive, of full-time service - Two Weeks Vacation 6 to 11 Years inclusive, of full-time service - Three Weeks Vacation 12 to 19 Years inclusive, of full-time service - Four Weeks Vacation 20 Years and over of full-time service - Five Weeks Vacation. SECTION 17: That all ordinances or resolutions or parts of ordinances or resolutions in con lict herewith are hereby repealed with the effective date of this Ordinance. SECTION 18: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure irrune~ately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason it is immediately necessary to review all pay scales and bring them into line due to inflation and cost of living increases, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
