~- <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 80-17 <br />BY : MR . BOEHNIER <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF SURPLUS <br />PERSONAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED AND PREVIOUSLY USED BY THE DEPARTMENT <br />OF PUBLIC SERVICES, AS AMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, the Council and the Administration have determined that various items <br />of personal property owned by the City of North Olmsted and formerly used by the <br />Department of Public Services are no longer needed for municipal purposes, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to sell said personal property in <br />accordance with law. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the following personal property was formerly used by the <br />Department of Public Services and is no longer needed for municipal business, to wit: <br />See Attached Schedule "A" made apart <br />hereof as though fully rewritten herein. <br />SECION 2: That the Mayor be and he is herby authorized to sell said personal <br />property to t~highest bidder according to law provided, however, that the highest <br />bid is approved by the Board of Control and further provided that the highest bidder <br />shall, upon acceptance of the bid, pay to the Director of Finance of the City of <br />North Olmsted, twenty-five percent (25%) of the bid price and that within five (5) days <br />thereafter, the entire bid price shall be paid and the successful bidder shall accept <br />and remove said property from the premises of the City. The Mayor, having been advised <br />upon receipt of the full bid price, shall, if necessary, execute any and all documents <br />required by law. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and <br />after the earliest period allowed by law provided that this Ordinance shall be approved <br />by at least two-thirds vote of all members of Cotmcil. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST <br />FLORENCE E.
