~~:.., <br /><.~.. <br />,,.~, <br />~.C.A'J 1nr.Gt~ ~c . ~Qi~sCaP.~~~=C~ <br />FL EN E CAMPBELL, CLE OF COUNCIL <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 80 - 16 <br />BY. <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SAFETY TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR ONE (1) PICK-UP <br />TRUCK AND PLOW, AND ONE (1) HEAVY DUTY 72-INCH <br />MOWER WITH CATCHER, COMPACTOR, AND TURF SWEEPER, <br />TO BE USED BY THE RECREATION DEPARTMENT IN THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED. <br />WHEREAS, the Recreation Department is in need of one (1) <br />pick-up truck and plow, and one (1) heavy duty 72-inch mower with <br />catcher, compactor, and turf sweeper for use in the Recreation <br />Department, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to purchase such <br />equipment for use by the Recreation Department. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Public Safety be and he is <br />hereby aut orized to advertise for bids for one (1) pick-up truck <br />and plow, and one (1) heavy duty 72-inch mower with catcher, compactor, <br />and turf sweeper to be used by the Recreation Department, which shall <br />be in accordance with specifications now on file in his office, and <br />that upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is authorized <br />to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North <br />Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that <br />it is immediately necessary to have said equipment available for <br />spring and summer maintenance, and further provided it receives an <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, <br />it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED : ~~f~ <br />ATTEST: <br />S <br />D E LIMPERT, P ,SIDENT OF <br />COUNCIL. <br />R ED : ~ 1 ~ ~ ~~ <br />OBERT W.
