CITY OF NORTH OLr~ISTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 80 - 14 <br />APPROVED: ~~ ~ p <br />BY: MR. BOEHMER <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SAFETY TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE In~PROVEMENT <br />OF THREE (3) SOCCER FIELDS LOCATED AT THE BRADLEY- <br />BARTON PARK IN THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AS AMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, the soccer fields at the Bradley-Barton Park are <br />not adequately graded, thus causing adverse conditions for soccer <br />playing, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to improve said <br />soccer fields by properly Grading same, installing drain the and <br />planting grass. <br />NOIV, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CiJYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Director o_f Public Safety be and he is <br />hereby Gut orizec~ to advertise for bids for the improvement of <br />three (3) soccer fields located at the Bradley-Barton Park in the <br />City of North Olmsted, which shall be in accordance with specifications <br />now in his Office, and that upon approval by the Board of Control, <br />the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute <br />the same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of <br />the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason <br />that it is immediately necessary to prepare said fields for the 1980 <br />soccer season, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote <br />of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~~,~,,~ '5~-,-/9P~ <br />ATTEST: <br />FLORENCE CA~dPBELL, LERK OF COUNCIL <br />DE.
