~..~ <br />7: <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 80-11 <br />BY: JAMES BOEHMER <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL <br />MAP AND FILE OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />TO PROVIDE FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A "NO <br />PARKING" SIGN ON THE NORTH SIDE OF ELD~ ROAD, <br />IN THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />tNHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to prohibit the <br />parking of vehicles on the north side of Elm Road (north side <br />being the hydrant side of the street), and <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 305 of the Traffic Code provides for the <br />maintenance of a Traffic Control Map which said map can be amended <br />only by ordinance. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLT~STED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Police Department be and the same is <br />hereby authorized and directed to amend the Traffic Control Map <br />and File of the City of North Olmsted to indicate thereon the <br />prohibition of the parking of vehicles on the north side of Elm <br />Road in the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That the Niayor be and he is hereby directed to <br />cause sai "No Parking" sign to be installed in accordance with the <br />provisions of this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that <br />it is immediately necessary for the protection of the traveling public, <br />and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds <br />of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~ /9 <br />ATTEST:' <br />~, r ~- , <br />F ORENCf E~CA PBE L, ~ ERK 0 C UNCIL DE L PdPERT, P SIDENT OF <br />COUN IL. <br />PR D : ~..~1.` ~ ~~.~ <br />ej • <br />First reading: ~. s' d <br />Second reading: ~ ~ ~u <br />Third reading: 3 ~ <br />
