No person shall use a slingshot, bow <br />and arrow, or air gun within the public parks or recreation areas of the City, the use of <br />which is prohibited by Section 549.10 of the General Offenses Code. <br />(o) Golf. No person shall cause a golf ball to be propelled by hitting the same <br />with a golf club within the public parks or recreation areas of the City. <br />(p) Campfires and Cooking. No person shall keep or maintain or light a <br />campfire or cooking fire in an area other than that designated and established within the <br />park area. No person shall permit any fire to be left unattended and must completely <br />extinguish the fire before leaving the area. <br />(q) Travelling Public Shows and Carnivals. To the contrary notwithstanding <br />the adoption of Chapter 701 of the Business Regulation Code regulating travelling public <br />shows and carnivals, no such activity regulated thereby shall be permitted in any public <br />park within the City, with the exception that the annual carnival in North Olmsted Park <br />which has heretofore been known as "Homecoming" and was heretofore sponsored by the <br />Community Council will be permitted as per Chapter 701 of the Business Regulation <br />Code, but shall not exceed four days in length of operation. <br />(rl Bicycles Prohibited in Skate Park. No person shall operate, ride or <br />otherwise possess or use a bicycle at the North Olmsted Skate Park. <br />BE AMENDED, AND, AS AMENDED, SHALL READ AS FOLLOWS: <br />505.01 DOGS AND OTHER ANIMALS RUNNING AT LARGE. <br />(a) No person being the owner or having charge of cattle, sheep, geese, ducks, <br />turkeys, chickens or other fowl or animals shall permit them to run at large upon any <br />public place, or upon any unenclosed lands, or upon the premises of another. <br />(b) No person being the owner of or having charge of any dog, whether <br />wearing a registration tag or not, shall permit it to run at large upon any public place or <br />upon the premises of another. No owner, keeper or harborer of any female dog shall <br />permit such dog to go beyond the premises of such owner or keeper at any time such dog <br />is in heat, unless such dog is properly in leash. The owner or keeper of every dog shall at <br />all times keep such dog either confined upon the premises of the owner or keeper, or if <br />off the premises, leased and under reasonable control of some person. The requirement <br />of this paragraph that a dog be leashed if off the premises of his owner or keeper, shall <br />not apply to the following: <br />(1) A police dog that has been trained, and is assisting a law <br />enforcement officer in the performance of his duties; <br />(2) A dog which is performing at a dog competition or dog show. <br />(c) The running at large of any such animal in or upon any of the places <br />mentioned in this section is prima-facie evidence that it is running at large in violation of <br />this section. <br />(d) The provisions of this section shall not permit a person, being the owner, <br />or in charge or control of any dog to allow such dog to enter, run or remain in any public <br />park or playground even though such dog is accompanied by a responsible person or <br />upon a leash or under such control, except that dogs may be walked on leashes in <br />designated areas of North Olmsted and Claque Citv Parks, subiect to the conditions <br />and limitations set forth in naraEranh (fl of Section 947.01 of the North Olmsted <br />
