~_K~._,.._..41_..~~... ~ ~_. __,..._ <br />n m <br />Resolution No. 2009 - 140 <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OFNORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to enter into a <br />contract, a copy of which is attached hereto and marked as Exhibit "A," with the Auditor <br />of the State of Ohio, and Ciuni &Panichi, Inc., independent certified public accountants, <br />for the purpose of providing for the latter to perform the State Auditor annual audits of <br />the City of North Olmsted for the years 2009 through 2013. <br />SECTION 2: Tliat the Director of Finance be and is authorized to compensate <br />Ciuni &Panichi, Inc., for the services performed for each said annual audit in accordance <br />with its cost proposal of November 3, 2009 submitted to the State Auditor, supplemented, <br />if applicable, by appropriate annual engagement letters to be subsequently prepared by <br />Ciuni &Panichi, Inc., and reviewed and approved by the Director of Finance. <br />SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and <br />welfare, and for the further reason that the independent certified public accountant must <br />begin providing services in January 2010 in order to meet financial reporting deadlines, <br />and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by <br />the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~,~ ~ J~, ~~U ~ First Reading: U ~l __ <br />Second Reading: /5 U <br />Third Reading: (,c <br />Committee: ~y~q,~i(~ _ <br />ATTEST.• <br />,~a~ <br />MARIE GALLO <br />Clerk of Council <br />(._ ~"' <br />K IN M.
