Police. The Employer will not cancel, except in an emergency, any time picked during the <br />original vacation and paid holiday picks. <br />The Employer also realizes that employees may take other vacation time and paid <br />holidays that are not addressed above. In addition, time off is permitted in the form of overtime <br />off and unused sick leave time off. The Employer will do everything possible to see that the <br />employee will get this time off except in an emergency or at the request of the employee. <br />ARTICLE 7 <br />WAGES <br />7.01 Effective January 1, 2009 through January 1, 2012, all employees shall be paid in <br />accordance with the following schedule: <br />2009 Hourly <br />Corrections Officer-First Year 15.18 <br />Corrections Officer-Second Year 16.38 <br />Corrections Officer-Third Year 17.59 <br />Corrections Officer-Fourth Year 18.80 <br />Corrections Officer-Fifth Year 20.69 <br />7.02 Shift differential: All employees shall receive a shift differential in the amount of seventy- <br />five ($.75) cents per hour. Shift differential shall be paid to employees assigned to the second <br />(1600 to 2400) shift, third (2400 to 0800) shift, and swing (2000 to 0400) shift respectively. <br />7.03 All forms of compensation shall be paid by electronic deposit commencing at the <br />Employer's convenience, but not later than thirty (30) days after the execution of this <br />Agreement. In the event an employee is deemed un-bai~lcable, the Employer will meet with the <br />employee to attempt to remedy the problem. <br />7.04 Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph 7.02, no payments will be due, owing or <br />paid during the calendar years 2010 and 201 1. <br />7.05 There shall be a reopener, effective November 1, 201.0, for the purposes of negotiating <br />wage rates and furloughs during the 2011 calendar year. <br />ARTICLE 8 <br />LONGEVITY PAY <br />8.01 All employees hired prior to December 31, 1994, shall receive additional compensation, <br />such addition compensation. is a follows: <br />$ 250.00 After employee completes five (5) years <br />$ 500.00 After employee completes ten (10) years <br />$ 750.00 After employee completes fifteen (15) years <br />$1000.00 After employee completes twenty (20) years <br />
