.__ _~ .~..___w.,~ <br /> <br />We will manage an economic development marketing campaign, composed of the following: <br />^ Promote a marketing message capturing the strengths and goals of the city as a whole; <br />^ Develop customized marketing strategies for high-priority development sites including underutilized <br />parcels at strategic locations throughout the city; and <br />• Communicate the message to key "customers" through: <br />o Economic development-focused web pages for the city's website <br />o Development and distribution of targeted a-mail communications to real estate developers, <br />business owners, corporate real estate executives, real estate agents, regional and State <br />economic development officials and others <br />o Familiarization events for selected real estate developers, business owners corporate real <br />estate executives, real estate agents, regional and State economic development officials and <br />others <br />IV. Manage Business Development Projects <br />For those companies that have an interest in expanding or locating in the City, we will fully assist. We <br />have been involved with many site selection and expansion projects and know what is required to ensure <br />that a prospect becomes a project. We will coordinate the efforts of the City, but will also play a <br />supporting role in the delivery of assistance from the State, County, and other agencies as necessary. <br />V. Special Project Funding <br />We will pro-actively work to identify opportunities to secure County, State, and Federal financial grants and/or <br />loans to assist with funding the City's economic development efforts. <br />VI. Miscellaneous Economic Development Issues <br />Miscellaneous issues/topics related directly or indirectly to economic development may arise for which the <br />City would like input from Silverlode. We will assist the City with these types of issues/topics as needed. <br />Budget <br />For the services listed above, we propose atwo-tiered, hourly rate structure with an hourly rate of $175 for <br />experienced consultants (5+ years) and $100 for staff consultants (less than 5 years). We will use staff <br />personnel as much as possible for non-technical tasks such as updating the available property list, completing <br />grant applications, etc. In addition, we will charge for all reasonable out of pocket expenses including, but not <br />limited to, travel, data purchases, printing, copying, etc. <br />We will continue to work directly with you to identify and agree on all of our work tasks and to delivery <br />all work products.
