~"'' -3- <br />~""+~ <br />The City agrees that the Architect shall have the right to engage in the practice of architecture for <br />private individuals within the City during the term of this agreement, provided that he shall not have <br />interest in, review, or approve any plans or work in which he has either drawn or participated in the <br />drawing of, which said plans he has to approve or recommend approval to the City or its Boards or <br />Commissions. <br />FEES AND SCHEDULE OF PAYMENTS <br />For services rendered under this agreement, the Architect shall be entitled to the following: <br />Retainer <br />A retainer of two hundred thirty five dollars ($235.00) shall be paid monthly during the period of the <br />contract. <br />Basic Services <br />Schedule of Fees <br />Plan Review <br />Discipline <br />General and mechanical <br />Electrical/Fire Alarm/Detector Systems <br />Sprinkler/Fire Suppression/Exhaust Hood <br />Base Processing Plan Review Fee <br />Fee Per 100 s.f. of gross <br />building area. <br />$95.00 $3.20 first 10,000 s.f. <br />$2.05 over 10,000 s.f. <br />$95.00 $1.85 first 10,000 s.f. <br />$1.15 over 10,000 s.f. <br />$95.00 $2.70 first 10,000 s.f. <br />$1.80 over 10,000 s.f. <br />Plans which are submitted for phased approval (fast tracked) shall be subject to a base processing <br />fee for each phase submitted plus one plan review fee for the entire project. <br />Plans from more than one discipline which are submitted at the same time for the same project shall <br />be subject to only one base processing fee. <br />Revision/resubmittal when drawings <br />cannot be approved as required by <br />OBC 106.3.1. one half of original fee with a minimum of $95.00 <br />
