r^*, <br />..+. <br />Meet with the Building Official or City representative and shall, with him or alone <br />as instructed, visit construction or other sites or buildings under jurisdictional <br />authority of the City and make whatever inspection reports, written or oral, that <br />maybe deemed necessary at the time. <br />Respond to requests to provide information or testify as requested by the Building <br />Official or City representative, or when subpoenaed by a court or other legal body <br />of jurisdiction regarding any matter for which the Architect has provided service <br />or presented an opinion before the City. <br />The Architect shall be reimbursed for travel, printing, mileage, long distance telephone <br />calls, reproduction, postage, and other typical reimbursable costs incurred during the <br />performance of the services. <br />GENERAL CONDITIONS <br />The Architect shall furnish such facilities and equipment he deems necessary to perform <br />the services under this agreement. The City shall provide the Architect one (1) copy of <br />all plans and data submitted for permit, review, or approval and shall provide reference <br />books, reports, and informational material as requested by the Architect that may be <br />required by the Architect. The City shall maintain proper storage of all records and <br />plans, and shall also maintain all records and plans required by the State or OBC, <br />including those required by the State to maintain Building Department certification. <br />The Architect shall be responsible to provide services for only the applications directed to <br />him by the City or City's representative, and shall have no responsibility or liability for <br />applications or information not directed to him. <br />In consideration of the Architect's assistance to the City in the performance of a <br />governmental function for which the City is entitled to sovereign immunity, the City shall <br />defend the Architect from any and all claims arising from any of the services provided <br />under this agreement. <br />The City agrees that the Architect shall have the right to engage in the practice of <br />architecture for private individuals within the City during the term of this agreement, <br />provided that he shall not have interest in, review, or approve any plans or work in which <br />he has either drawn or participated in the drawing of, which said plans he has to approve <br />or recommend approval to the City or its Boards or Commissions. <br />FEES AND SCHEDULE OF PAYMENTS: <br />For services rendered under this agreement, the Architect shall be entitled to the <br />following: <br />
