,~.;,~ <br />,~,- Ordinance No. 2009-1 ~+ <br />943.07 RATES FOR OPENING AND CLOSING GRAVES; STAKING FOR <br />MONUMENTS OR HEADSTONES. <br />The rate for opening and closing graves and for staking for monuments and headstones <br />shall be as follows: <br />Ashes Burial Vault Burial Monument/Headstone <br />Weekdays $500.00 $650.00 $300.00 <br />Saturdays X88625.00 860.00 -}-X300.00 <br />SECTION 2: That the original Section 943.06 and 943.07 of Chapter 943 of the Streets, <br />Utilities and Public Services Code amended herein are expressly repealed, and all other <br />ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances or resolutions, that are inconsistent or in conflict <br />with new Sections 943.06 and 943.07 of the said Code, are likewise repealed to the extent of <br />such inconsistency or conflict only. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and further <br />for the reason that it is necessary that this Ordinance go into effect immediately to increase <br />revenues in 2009 to help address the current budget crisis; and further provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />:~~ <br />PASSED: ' '~ u~.~~ ~ ~ c~a <br />i <br />c <br />/~ <br />First Reading: <br />Second Reading: <br />Third Reading.• <br />Committee: <br />ATTEST.• <br />,7 <br />~~ /' r', <br />BARBARA L.
