<br /> <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2001-138 <br />BY: MAYOR MUSIAL <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR 5,000 TONS OF STONE FOR VARIOUS SERVICE <br />DEPAR'TMENT NEEDS, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR <br />SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TBE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for 5,000 tons of stone for various Service Department needs, in <br />accordance with specifications now on file in his office, and that upon approval by the <br />Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute <br />same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessa.ry for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfa.re, and <br />further reason that it is necessary to provide for the city's stone requirements, and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of a11 members of Council, it sha11 <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED:'?)( tl'uC?c,?? <br />ATJEST: <br />BARBARA L.
