CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2001-122 <br />BY: MAY4R MUSIAL <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH JEFF <br />MARSHALL TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO THE CITY AS THE <br />COORDINATOR OF ICE SKATING AT THE NORTH OLMSTED <br />RECREATION CENTER, AND DECLARiNG AN EMERGENCY AS <br />AMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Administration to enter into a contract with Jeff <br />Marshall to provide services to the City as the Coordinator of Ice Skating at the North Olmsted <br />Recreation Center; and <br />N'HEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into said <br />contract with Jeff Marshall ; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the contract for Jeff Marshall, <br />retroactively, for the period Februazy 26, 2401, through June 30, 2002; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COiINTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he hereby is authorized to enter into a contract with <br />Jeff Marshall for the period February 26, 2001, through June 30, 2002, to provide services as <br />Coordinator of Ice Skating at the Recreation Center, in substantially the form and substance as <br />evidenced in the Contract attached to this Ordinance as "Exhibit A." <br />SECTIONZ: That this Council finds that sufficient funds have been appropriated and set <br />aside this year to pay all monies due to Jeff Marshall under this Contract. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the <br />further reason that it is necessary that this ordinance immediately go into effect upon adoption <br />because of the retroactivity of the start of the time period involved, and further provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be <br />in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
