<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2001-119 <br />BY: THE MAYOR AND ENTIRE COUNCII, <br />A RE50LUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO <br />A CONTRACT WITH THE CUYAHOGA COUNTY GENERAL <br />HEALTH DISTRICT FOR THE YEAR 2002, AN DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted, under O.R.C. §3709.08 is a member of <br />the General Health District of Cuyahoga County; and <br />WHEREA5, the City of North Olmsted must enter into a contract for the yeaz <br />2002 for health setvices to be performed by the Cuyahoga County Health District. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OffiO: <br />SECTION 1: T'hat the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to enter into a <br />contract, a copy of which is attached hereto and marked Exhibit "A," with the Cuyahoga <br />County General Health District to provide health services to the City of North Olmsted <br />from January 1, 2002 to December 31, 2002. <br />SECTION 2: That a copy of this Resolutinn shall be forwarded to the Director <br />of Finance for authority to pay semi-annual payments under the provisions of this <br />contract. <br />SEC7'ION 3: That this Resalution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and <br />welfare, and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary for the continuity of <br />health services to the residents of this City, and further provided it receives the <br />affirmative votes af two-thirds of all members of Council, it sha11 take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its passage.
