EXHIBdT B-'t 1 <br />JOB CL,4SSIFtCATiON LABORER <br />RESPONSIEiLE TO <br />OPERATIONS FORENfAN <br />PJATURE OF WORK: <br />This is manual labor in the performance of semi-skilled and limited skiliecf work of a physicalfy <br />demanding nature. - <br />Work involues performing manual work of a semi-skilled nature, which requires speeial previous <br />training or experience. Although the wark is usually perFormed under the immediate direction of an <br />employee of a higher rank, and instructions are received at the beginning .of each new job; constant <br />supervisian is not always available for routine and repetitive tasks which can be carried an wifhout c{ifficufty <br />once they are fearned. Automotive equipment may be operated. <br />EXAMPLES OF iNORK: <br />e Parficipates in the work of crews engaged in the operation and maintenance of the wastewater piant <br />and related facifities; for example: repairs roofs, interior and exterior of plant buifdings; paints bui(dings, <br />trim, wal(s, and ceilings; replaces windows, doors, and locks; repairs and mainfiains plant buifding and <br />grounds. <br />• As required, keeps recards of all work perFormed; reports need for materials and equipment on <br />construction and repair jobs. ? Assists operators with general duties inciuding hosing of tanks, equipment, vvalks, drives, etc. Assist in <br />cleaning duties as required by the nafure of the operation of a wastewater treatmenf piant. <br />• Assist the maintenance division when required with their assigned work. <br />a Duty statian with any of the three divisians oi the Wastewater Department; namefy: operational, <br />maintenance, ar system wiii be assigned by the Superintendent as required. <br />e P,s required and assigned, will operate automotive equipment; such as pick-up trucks autornobiles, <br />dump trucks, dempsey dumpsfer, etc. When operat'rng trucks greafer than five (5) ton capacity, the <br />employee shall be paid `A" Laborer rate. Work wiii be characterized by the large variefiy of generai <br />duties of a semiskiiled nature which must be-done in the Wastevvater Division, <br />59
