CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2001-114 <br />BY: COUNCII,MAN DEAN MCKAY <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR AND ACCEPT BIDS FOR LABORATORY ANALYTICAL <br />SERVICES TO SUPPORT THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT, AS <br />DETAILED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS ON FII.E, AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted is desirous of providing the <br />laboratory analytical services to support the Waste Water Treatment Plant in fulfilling the <br />monitoring requirements of the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, and <br />WHEREAS, the necessary specifications, as prepared by the Director of Public Service <br />of the City of North Olmsted are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into an <br />agreement for said service. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCII. OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for the bids for laboratory analytical services to support the Wastewater <br />Treatment Plant according to specifications now on file in his office, and that, upon <br />approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract <br />and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure, <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and <br />further provided that it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by <br />the Mayor.
