Specifications <br />for each cab door. LiQhting shall be designed to provide illumination on areas under the <br />dnver, officer, and crew cab riding area exits, which shall be activated automatically when the <br />exif doors are opened, by the door jarn swiich and by the same means as the vodv perimeter <br />Ii ahts. ? <br />The lighting shall be capable of providing illumination at a minimum level of one (1) foot- <br />candle on around areas within 30.00" of the edae of the apparatus in areas which personnel <br />climb in or out of the apparatus or descend from the apparatus to the ground level. <br />PERIMETER SCENE LIGHTS. B4DY <br />There shall be a total of four (4) Truck-Lite, model 40003, 4.00" grommet mount <br />weatherproof li?hts provided on the apparatus. Two (2) lights s11a11 be provided under the rea: <br />step area and two (2) Iights shall be provided under the pump panel runizina boards. The? <br />Iiahts shall be spaced one (1) each side of apparatus and have a clear lens. The perizneter <br />scene Iiahts shall be activated b_y a parlcing bralce. <br />Tiie lighting shall be capable of providing illumination at a minimum level of one (1) foot- <br />candle on ?round areas within 30.00" of the edge of the apparatus in areas desianed for <br />personnel to clunb onto the apparatus or descend from the apparatus to the around level. <br />DECK LIGIiTS <br />Two (? )-6.00" L'nitv AG deck lights with swivel mount shall be provided at the rear of the <br />hose bed, one (I ) each side. <br />One (1) IiQht shall be furnished with a 160,000 candle power halogen spot bulb and the other <br />shall be furnished with a 6;000 candle power halogen flood bulb. <br />HAND HELD SPOTLIGHT <br />There shall be one (11) spotlight proeided, model Collins CL-12 witil a 9 foot coil cord and <br />momentarv switch. The housinc, shall be made from aircraft aluzninum that is black powder <br />coated. Locaiion of theone (1) spotlight shall be located on the offieers side of t1le engine <br />housina matchina job #11937 in a stainless steel sIide-in bracket. <br />HAND HELD LIGHT <br />There shall be provided, Streamliaht LiteBox with the oranae thermoplastic bodv. The <br />Streamlight LiteBox shall bemounted one in the front and four in the rear of the cab per <br />NOFD dii-ections at pre construction. <br />AIR HOR'! S1'STEM <br />Two (2) Grover air horns shall be provided and located, in the front bumper, recessed one <br />eaeh side. The horn system shall be piped to the air brake svstem 'xet tanlt utilizin? .38" <br />tubing. A pressure protection valve shall be installed in-line to prevent the loss of air, in the <br />air bralce system. <br />AIR HOR.N CONTROL <br />The air hoins shall be actuated per NOFD instructions at pre build.
