Specifications <br />between live parts and the neutral conductor, and between live parts and the vehicle frame <br />with any switches in the circuit(s) closed. This test shall be conducted after all body work has <br />been completed. <br />Electrical polaritti' verification shall be made of all permanentlN, wired equipment and <br />receptacles to determine that connections have been properly made. <br />Operational TestperNFPA 1901 Chapter 19-14.4 <br />The apparatus manufacturer shall perform the follovving operation test and shall certifi% that <br />the power source and any devices that are attached to the line voltage electrical system are <br />properly eonnected and in working order. <br />The prime mover shall be started from a cold start condition and the line voltage electrical <br />svstem laaded to 100 percent of the nameplate rating. <br />The power source shall be operated at 100 percent of its liameplate voltage for a minimuin of <br />two (2) hours unless the system meets category certif cation as defined ii1 NF'PA 1901 chapter <br />19-14-5. <br />Where the Iine voltage power is derived from the vehicle's low voltage systein, the miiumum <br />continuous electrical load as defined in NFPA 1901 Cliapter 9 shall be applied to the ]ow <br />voltaQe electrieal system during the operational test. <br />GENER4TOR <br />T11e apparatus shall be equipped with a complete elecfrical power system. The generator shall <br />be an Ainps 6KU' hydraulic unit. The wiringl and generator installation shall confornl to the <br />present National Electrical Codes Standards of the National Fire Protection Association.
