CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2001- 93 <br />BY: Mayor Norman T. Musial <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF <br />GRADING AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS AT SPRINGVALE <br />GOLF COUR5E IN THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED AS DETAILED <br />IN THE SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR THE 5AME, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted is desirous of the construction of <br />grading and drainage improvements at Springvale Golf Course in the City, and <br />WHEREAS, the necessary specifications, as prepared under the direction of the <br />Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into an <br />Agreement to construct said improvement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for the construction of grading and drainage improvements at Springvale Golf <br />Course according to specifications now on file in his office and that, upon approval by the Board <br />of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a Contract and execute same on behalf of <br />the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
