Ordinance No. 2001-89 <br />Page 3 <br />(1) require the child to attend a youth smoking education program or other <br />smoking treatment program approved by the court, if one is available; <br />(2) impose a fine of not more than one hundred dollars. <br />(g) If a child disobeys a juvenile court order issued pursuant to division (f) of this Section, <br />the court may do any or all of the following: <br />(1) increase the fine imposed upon the child under division (f)(2) of this Section; <br />(2) require the child to perform not more than twenty hours of community service; <br />(3) suspend for a period of thirty days the temporary instruction permit, <br />probationary driver's license, or driver's license issued to the child. <br />(h) A child alleged or found to have violated division (b) or (c) of this Section shall not be <br />detained under any provision of R.C. Chapter 2151 or any other provision of the Ohio Revised <br />Code. <br />SECTION 2: That any Ordinance or parts of Ordinances inconsistent with or in conflict <br />with this Ordinance, to the eatent of any such inconsistency or conflict with this Ordinance, be <br />and hereby are repealed. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for the further <br />reason that it is immediately necessary that this legislation go into effect immediately because Council <br />does not meet in the month of August and this legislation must be in effect prior to the start of the <br />school year in late August; and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />First Reading: ? ajo ( Second Reading.• C ? <br />Third Reading• <br />Committee: )%_ k-Cf <br />AT ST.• <br />BARBARA L.
