CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2001 - 66 <br />BY.• MAYOR NORMAN T. MUSIAL <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT <br />WITH WADE-TRIM/OffiO, INC. TO PROVIDE DESIGN <br />SERVICES FOR THE REHABILITATION OF A PORTION OF <br />SOUTH CANTERBURY ROAD AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor has recommended that the services of the firm of Wade- <br />Trim/Ohio, Inc. be hired to accomplish the aforesaid services due to their expertise in this <br />field; and <br />WHEREAS, upon the recommendation of the Mayor, this Council does hereby <br />eacpress its desire to have the Mayor enter into a contract with said firm for and on behalf <br />of the City. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter <br />into an agreement with Wade-Trim/Ohio, Inc. to provide design services for the <br />rehabilitation of a portion of South Canterbury Road. A copy of said agreement is <br />attached hereto and made a part hereof and marked Exhibit "A". <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for <br />the reason that it is immediately necessary to proceed with the design services for this <br />project, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval <br />by the Mayor.
