March 19, 2001 <br />RE: Proposal for Architectural and Engineering Services for <br />Springvale Golf Course <br />City of North Olmsted <br />We are pleased to submit to you the following proposal for Architectural and Engineering <br />Services for the Pump House and the Maintenance Building for Springvale Golf Course, <br />located in the City of North Olmsted. <br />Our iinderstanding of the two (2) buildings, based upon the information provided in the <br />March 2 RFP, the Maxch 7 Addendurn, and my discussions with 1\1r. 1VIar-ty Young, is as <br />follows: <br />A. The Puznp House is to be approYimately 400 square feet and is to be located <br />approximately 400 feet from site utilities. Tt will be placed over a pump provided by <br />others and is not a part of this proposal. <br />B. The Nlaintenance Building is to be not less than 6,000 square feet and is to be located <br />close to site utilities. It will house the cornputer eguipment for the irrigation system. <br />It is to include offices, maintenance area, restrooms and storage area. <br />Both buildings will be split-faced construction with a truss roof and shingles. A,nd both <br />buildings are proposed to be located in a flood plain, requiring flood-resistant construction, <br />per OBBC to be constructed as required by the local flood piain administrator. <br />The scope of Architectural an.d Engineering sexvices is to include the following: <br />A. Provide Design Services. <br />B. Provide Structural, Mechanical and Engineering Design Services. <br />C. Provide Bid Documents. <br />D. Provide Construction Costs Estimate. <br />E. Provide (3) Site Visits. <br />Not provided in this proposal by the architect are any site surveys. Site survey, including <br />topography and utilities, shoitld be provided by the Owner. Also, no soil testing reports are <br />provided as a part of this proposal; and if required, these shall be provided by the Owner.
