CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2001-16 <br />By: Mayor Musial <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE SHARON DRIVE <br />PAVEMENT RECONSTRUCTION IN THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />AS DETAILED IN THE SPECIF'ICATIONS ON FILE AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR THE SAME, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted is desirous of Sharon Drive <br />pavement reconstruction in the City, and <br />WHEREAS, the necessary specifications, as prepared under the direction of the <br />Engineering Department ofthe City ofNorth Olmsted are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into an <br />agreement to make said improvement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION L• That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to advertise for <br />bids for the Sharon Drive pavement reconstruction in the city of North Olmsted as detailed in the <br />specifications now on file in his office and that, upon approval by the Board of Control, the <br />Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of the City of <br />North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately <br />necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and further provided it <br />receives the af?irinative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force immedi tely upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: , Ca C e-- <br />A?ST: i?
