CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2001-14 <br />By: Mayor Musial <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE RELOCATION OF THE NORTHERN AVENUE <br />(VACATED) WATER MAIN BETWEEN PORTER ROAD AND DECKER ROAD IN <br />THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED AS DETAILED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS ON <br />FiLE AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR THE SAME, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted is desirous of relocating the <br />Northern Avenue (vacated) water main between Porter Road and Decker Road in the City, and <br />WHEREAS, the necessary specifications, as prepared under the direction of the <br />Engineering Dep artment of the City of North Olmsted are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into an <br />agreement to make said improvement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, ANID STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to advertise for <br />bids for the relocation of the Northern Avenue (vacated) water main between Porter Road and <br />Deck Road in the city of North Olmsted as detailed in the specifications now on file in his office <br />and that, upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a <br />contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately <br />necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and further provided it <br />receives the a?'innative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force imme tely upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED:,t ?oc'/ <br />A7T. <br />j <br />?
