Wage 15.914 16.391 16.883 Per Hour <br />(including part-time personnel <br />SECTION 15: That all pay ranges and amounts established will be effective no earlier than January 1st of the <br />respective year. Salaries specified in this Ordinance shall be paid by the Director of Finance on a bi-weekly <br />basis. <br />SECTION 16: That upon the approval of the Mayor or respective Director, all full-time personnel listed within <br />this Ordinance, with the exception of those holding Elected or Director positions, Police Chief and Fire Chief <br />listed in this Ordinance will be paid time and one-half of their straight time rates of pay for hours worked in <br />excess of eight (8) hours in any one day; and time and one-half of their straight time rate of pay for hours <br />worked in excess of forty (40) hours in any one work week. Double time shall be paid to said employees for <br />Sundays and Holidays provided they have worked at least forty (40) hours in any one work week. <br />SECTION 17: That all full-time personnel listed within this Ordinance having completed five (5) years of full- <br />time service as an employee of the city shall be paid an additional four percent (4%) of their base annual salary; <br />thereafter until completion of their tenth (10th) year of full-time service after which such employee shall receive <br />five percent (5%) of their base annual salary; thereafter until completion of their fifteenth (15th) year of full-time <br />service, such employee shall receive six percent (6%) of their base annual salary; until after the completion of <br />the twentieth (20th) year of full-time service, and during each year of full-time service thereafter, they shall <br />receive seven percent (7%) of their base annual salary as longevity increments. <br />SECTION 18: That all full-time personnel listed within this Ordinance shall receive the following holidays off, <br />unless required to work by their supervisor or the Mayor in emergencies, and shall receive their regular rate of <br />pay: New Year's Day; Presidents' Day; one-half (1/2) day on Good Friday; Memorial Day; Independence Day; <br />Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; one-half (1/2) day on Christmas Eve; Christmas Day; one-half (1/2) day on New <br />Year's Eve Day; employee's birthday; and finro floating holidays. These holidays are not eligible for buy back <br />and if not taken after 12 months they can no longer be used. <br />SECTION 19: That all full-time personnel listed within this Ordinance shall be entitled to an annual vacation in <br />accordance with the Vacation Ordinance. All previous service as an elected city public official within the city <br />shall be considered full-time for the purpose of calculating vacation and sick leave upon retirement. <br />SECTION 20: That all full-time personnel listed within this Ordinance shall receive three (3) eight (8) hour days <br />off with pay, or may elect to be paid for three (3) eight (8) hour days, for each six (6) continuous month period of <br />unused sick leave. No month shall be counted in more than one period. <br />11
