CHAPTER 133 <br />INTERIM DIItECTOR APPOINTMENTS <br />133.01 Definitions. <br />133.02 Power to Make Interim Appointments. <br />133.03 Term of Interim Appointments <br />133.04 Rights to Office Acquired <br />133.01 DEFII~TITIONS. <br />(a) "Appointed Director" shall mean only the following Directors: Director of Public <br />Service, Director of Public Safety, Director of Human Resources, and Director of Administrative <br />and Personnel Services. <br />133.02 POWER TO MAKE INTERIM APPOINTMENTS. <br />Whenever a vacancy exists in the office of any appointed Director, the Mayor, without the <br />consent or concurrence of Council, may make an interim appointment to fill said vacancy. <br />133.03 TERM OF INTERIM APPOINTMENT. <br />The interim Director shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor for a period not to exceed <br />one year. During the period of the interim Director's service, the Mayor may at any time remove <br />the interim Director from office with or without cause, and without obtaining the consent or <br />concurrence of the Council. <br />133.04. RIGHTS TO OFFICE ACQUIRED. <br />If the Mayor fails to replace an interim Director with a permanent Director within the year <br />period following his or her appointment as an interim Director, then the interim appointment shall <br />become a permanent appointment, and the said Director may thereafter be removed from office <br />only in accordance with the removal provisions of Article III, Section 5(A) of the Charter of the <br />City of North Olmsted. <br />_. . . <br />_~~~w ~., <br />
