<br />i ` <br />~ ; <br />i <br />~~ ,- <br />r,.a , <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 97- 102 <br />BY: MAYOR ED BOYLE <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH WALTER & HAVERFIELD <br />TO PROVIDE TELECOMMUNICATIONS CONSULTING SERVICES WITH <br />RESPECT TO WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS AND INSTALLATIONS <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor has recommended that the services of the firm of Walter & <br />Haverfield be hired to accomplish the aforesaid services due to their expertise in this field; and <br />WHEREAS, upon the recommendation of the Mayor, this Council does hereby express <br />its desire to have the Mayor enter into a contract with said firm for and on behalf of the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into an <br />agreement with Walter & Haverfield to provide Telecommunications Consulting services with <br />respect to wireless communications systems and installations. A copy of said agreement is <br />attached hereto and made a part hereof and marked Exhibit "A". <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the <br />reason that it is immediately necessary to proceed with Telecommunications Consulting services <br />with respect to wireless communications systems and installations and further provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote oftwo-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />i <br />
