CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 97-99 <br />BY: COUNCILMAN NASHAR <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL FILE OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED TO PROVIDE FOR THE INSTALLATION OF <br />REGULATORY SIGNS R - 55 - 12, "NO PARKING ANYTIlVIE", ON BOTH <br />SIDES OF MILL ROAD BETWEEN PORTER AND DOVER CENTER ROAD <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, this Council has determined that it is in the best interest of public safety, <br />health and welfare of the citizens of the City of North Olmsted to prohibit parking on both <br />sides of Mill Road between Porter Road and Dover Center Road. <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 305 of the Traffic Code provides for the maintenance of a Traffic <br />Control File which said file can be amended only by Ordinance. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Police Department be and it is hereby authorized and directed to <br />amend the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted to indicate thereon the <br />installation of the parking prohibition signs on both sides of Mill Road between Porter <br />Road and Dover Center Road. <br />SECTION 2: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed to cause said <br />signs to be installed in accordance with the provisions of the Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and <br />provide it receives the affurnative vote oftwo-thirds of all members of Council, it shall go <br />into immediate force and effect upon its signing by the Mayor. <br />„~ ~.,~~.<~._.: ... , ~ Yom,,«:.~ ,.,~:. , <br />.. <br />
