CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0.97-88 <br />BY: COUNCII,MAN LIND <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR DIESEL FUEL AND GASOLINE <br />PRODUCTS FOR USE BY THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AS PER <br />SPECIFICATIONS NOW ON FILE IN HIS OFFICE, AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TIC CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for die~l fuel and gasoline products for use by the City of North <br />Olmsted, in accordance with specifications now on file in his office, and that upon <br />approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract <br />and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for <br />the further reason that it is necessary to provide for the city's fuel and gasoline <br />requirements, and fuher provided it receives the affirmative vote oftwo-thirds of all <br />members of council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and <br />approval a Mayor. <br />~_. _ . <br />PASSED:.
