CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0.97-84 <br />BY: COUNCII,MAN LIND <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR 2,000 TONS OF STONE FOR VARIOUS <br />SERVICE DEPARTMENT NEEDS, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the I}irector of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for 2,000 tons of stone for various Service Department needs, in <br />accordance with specifications now on file in his office, and that upon approval by the <br />Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract end execute <br />same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for <br />the futher reason that it is necessary to provide for the city's stone requirements, and <br />further provided it receives the affirmative vote oftwo-thirds of all members of council, it <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: '~r~.~GCC.,~.S, ~~/~~'I <br />,~- <br />A~ST: .. ~ _ <br />. ~1 t ° t <br />~ /J J~+((//; <br />1 / J <br />': /i(rt.-G~-t.~.-L,.E~- C~t {~,r"32,B,C.-.y,. .. ~ ~;.~- d.-.C.~ / 4 ~ C <br />'BARBARA L.
