CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 97-80 <br />BY: MAYOR and CITY COUNCIL <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE WALTER <br />H. DRANE COMPANY TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL <br />SERVICES IN UPDATING THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Codified Ordinances of the City should be kept up to date on a timely <br />basis to facilitate administration and enforcement of the City's ordinances; and <br />WHEREAS, the Walter H. Drane Company provides professional codification services to <br />Ohio municipalities, has previously published the City's Codified Ordinances and is prepared to <br />again render such service to the City of North Olmsted; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with the <br />Walter H. Drane Company, for the purpose of providing annual codification services for afive- <br />year period for the City of North Olmsted. The services of the Walter H. Drane Company shall be <br />consistent with the agreement which has been proposed and is presently on file in the office of the <br />Clerk of Council, which agreement is made a part hereof by reference. <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare of the residents <br />of the City and, for the further reason that there exists a pressing need to immediately update the <br />City's Codified ordinances, provided it receives the affirmative vote oftwo-thirds of all members <br />of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by <br />Mayor. <br />aAS•.~aP~`YF .. .. - '~. .-.n - .... .. i~x .rw..+i 1'-y~rY.tt~.c.ww-n...., _. .. ,- <br />
