CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ~~,/ r~-~.. ~~e_~Q__ <br />ORDINANCE N0.97-78 <br />BY: MAYOR BOYLE .~C~ - ~ i ~ ~ <br />AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING REVENUES DERIVED FROM <br />THE LEASE OF CITY PROPERTY FOR CABLEVISION'S USE, BE <br />DEPOSITED TO THE RECREATION CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT <br />FUND, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the City entered into a renewed lease with Cablevision in January, 1997; and <br />WHEREAS, Cablevision's business office is located on Recreation property; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of Council, that revenues generated by the use of City property <br />be designated to the Division which controls leased site location; and <br />WHEREAS, the Division of Parks and Recreation controls the site upon which <br />Cablevision offices are located. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO <br />SECTION 1: That revenues derived from the lease of City owned property occupied <br />and utilized by Cablevision be deposited into the Recreation Capital Improvement Fund. <br />SECTION 2: That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby directed to record <br />receipts from said leases of City owned land to Cablevision consistent with Section 1 of this <br />Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3: That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward an attested copy of <br />this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />SECTION 4: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the <br />further reason that is necessary to have specified revenues allocated to the Division of Parks and <br />Recreation, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote oftwo-thirds of all members of <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br /> <br />
