<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 97- 76 <br />BY.• The Entire Council <br />w <br />Z~~~ ~ ~ ~ ~ <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ORDINANCE SUBMITTED TO THE <br />COUNCIL BY THE ELECTORS BY INITIATIVE PETITION. <br />WHEREAS, this Council has determined that the Ordinance hereto attached as Exhibit A <br />has been submitted for vote of this Council as required by Article X, Section 1, of the City's <br />Charter; and <br />WHEREAS, the Clerk of Council has determined and certified that the petition contains <br />an adequate number of signatures to satisfy Article X, Section 1, of the City's Charter; and <br />WHEREAS, the Clerk of Council has determined and certified that the Ordinance <br />submitted by the attached petition is correct as to form; and <br />WHEREAS, the Clerk has therefore certified that the Ordinance submitted by petition is <br />sufficient as required by Article X, Section 1, of the City's Charter; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council is required by Article X, Section 1, of the City's Charter to vote <br />on the approval of such Ordinance. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: The Ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit A, changing the zoning <br />classification of a parcel of land adjacent to Brookpark Road therein more particularly described <br />from Office Building zoning to General Retail zoning, is hereby adopted and made a part of the <br />Zoning Code of the City of North Olmsted, and constitutes an amendment thereto. <br />SECTION 2: Pursuant to Article X, Section 1, of the City Charter, all readings <br />and approvals of the attached ordinance are waived, and it shall be in full force and effect <br />immediately upon its passage by the Council. <br />Date Passed: ~ Attest: <br />Approved <br />as to form: irector of Law <br />President of Council <br />Clerk of Council <br /> <br />
