CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97 - 61 <br />BY: Councilman Dean McKav <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR IlKPROVEMENTS IN THE FUEL SYSTEM AT THE <br />SERVICE GARAGE, BUS GARAGE AND SPRINGVALE GOLF COURSE AREA AS <br />DETAILED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR <br />TO CONTRACT FOR THE SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the necessary specifications, as prepared under the direction of the <br />Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into an <br />Agreement to construct said improvement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for improvements in the fuel system at the Service Garage, Bus Garage and <br />Springvale Golf Course according to specifications now on file in his office and that, upon <br />approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a Contract and <br />execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote oftwo-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~t~z ~ /~~J~J <br />ATTEST: <br />`~ <br />:- <br />Barbara L.
