floor window opening to habitable room, then the vehicle may be parked or <br />stored in the side yard area only if the distance from where the vehicle is to <br />be parked or stored to the house is greater than the length of the vehicle; <br />(2) Rear yard areas. Vehicles may be parked or stored in the rear yard area, <br />provided, however, that a distance no less than five feet to the side lot line <br />and ten feet to the rear lot line shall be maintained between the lot line and <br />the vehicle; and further provided, however, that the combined square <br />footage of the vehicles and all other accessory structures in the rear yard <br />area shall not exceed the limitation provided for in subsection (d) (2) <br />hereof; and further provided, however, with respect to corner lots only, <br />that the vehicles shall not be parked or stored in the setback area for the <br />side of the house which faces the street; <br />(3) Front yard areas. Vehicles may not be parked or stored in the front yard <br />area, except one vehicle upon a driveway and then only for a period of time <br />which does not exceed seventy-two hours within a consecutive twenty-one <br />day period. <br />No recreational vehicle parked or stored on any lot shall be occupied or have <br />wired connections to electricity (except a trickle charger), water, gas or sewer <br />facilities. Further, no storage shall be permitted in or under any recreational <br />vehicle parked or stored on any lot. All recreational vehicles parked or stored on <br />any lot shall be kept in good repair and shall carry the current year's license plate <br />registered to the legal occupant. <br />Notwithstanding any other provision of subsection (h) hereof, all legally nonconforming <br />storage of recreational vehicles in the rear yard or side yard shall be removed from the property by <br />no later than May 1, 1999. Further, any rear or side yard storage on an existing improved <br />driveway is permitted provided access to the required minimum of one garaged parking space is <br />not obstructed. <br />(i) Permanent Swimming Pools. Permanent swimming pools maybe located in a One <br />and Two Family Residence District as an accessory use to a dwelling. The pool, <br />accessory buildings, structures or other equipment shall not be located in a <br />required front or side yard and shall be not less than ten feet from any rear yard lot <br />line. The swimming pool area of ground level pools or the entire property on <br />which the pool is located shall be enclosed within a permanent fence of not less <br />than four (4) nor more than six (6) feet in height to prevent any access to the pool <br />except from a controlled point. Lighting fixtures shall be designed and located so <br />as not to cast direct rays of excessive brightness upon adjoining residential lots. <br />Four (4) foot elevated pools shall include a controlled point of an access. <br />SECTION 2: That any Ordinance or sections of Ordinances heretofore adopted that are <br />inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed. <br />7 <br /> <br />
