CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0.97-50 <br />By: Councilman Nashar <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL FILE <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED BY PROVIDING FOR <br />THE "NO PARKING" SIGNS ON THE FIRE HYDRANT <br />SIDE OF CAMBRIDGE DRIVE, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, "No Parking" signs were erected on Cambridge Drive at the time the <br />City maintained a Traffic Control Map, which is no longer maintained, and has been <br />replaced by the Traffic Control File, and <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 305 of the Traffic Code provides for the maintenance of the <br />Traffic Control File, which said file can be amended only by ordinance. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1: That the Police Department be and the same is hereby authorized and <br />directed to amend the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted to indicate <br />thereon the "No Parking" signs on the fire hydrant side Cambridge Drive thereby <br />prohibiting parking, as aforesaid. <br />Sectio~l: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed to cause <br />said signs to be maintained in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance. <br />~~: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and <br />provided that it receives the affirmative vote oftwo-thirds of all members of Council, it <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />
