<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0.97-27 <br />BY: Councilman Musial <br />AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A NEW AND REVISED <br />GhG4P1'ER 1395 OF THE BUILDING CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED AND DECLARING ANEMERGENCY, AS <br />AMENDED. <br />WHERF.A.S, from time to time the City is required to review and update the One, Two and <br />Three Family Dwelling Code so as to maintain current standards in the building industries; and <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City of North Olmsted to change the current Chapter <br />1305 of the Building Code to reflect changes that are necessary in the One, Two and Three Family <br />Dwelling Code. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTIONI: That there is hereby adopted a new and revised Chapter 1305 of the Codified <br />Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled "One, Two and Three Family Dwelling Code" which <br />new and revised Chapter 1305 is contained in Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and made a part <br />hereof. <br />SECTION2: That this Ordinance hereby repeals any other ordinance or parts of ordinances <br />that are inconsistent herewith <br />SECTION3: That the provisions of this Ordinance shall become effective on July 1, 1997. <br />SECTION 4: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary <br />for the immediate preservation of public peace, health and safety, and for the further reason that a <br />timely response must be made, and provided it receives the affirmative vote oftwo-thirds (2/3) of all <br />members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and <br />approval by the Mayor; otherwise it shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period <br /> <br />
