Ch.1303 <br />Smoke detectors -see FIRE PREV. 1701.13 <br />1305.01 PURPOSE AND ADOPTION. <br />There is hereby adopted and incorporated by reference as if set out at length herein, for the <br />purposes of establishing rules and regulations for the erection, construction, enlargement, <br />alteration, repair, improvement, removal, conversion, demolition, equipment, use, occupancy <br />or maintenance of one, two and three-family dwelling houses which are not constructed of <br />industrialized units, and their accessory structures, that certain code known as the Ohio <br />Building Officials Association (OBOA) One, Two and Three Family Dwelling Code, 1996 <br />edition, based on the One and Two Family Dwelling Code, 1995 edition, published jointly as <br />a nationally recognized model code by the: Building Officials and Code Administrators <br />International, Inc.; International Conference of Building Officials; and Southern Building <br />Code Congress International. The One and Two Family Dwelling Code shall be enforced in <br />conjunction with such provisions of the BOLA Basic Building Code adopted under Section <br />1301.01(b) as are applicable to one, two and three-family dwellings. <br />1305.02 FII.E AND DISTRIBUTION COPIES. <br />Copies of the Dwelling Code adopted under Section 1305.01 are on file with the Clerk of <br />Council for inspection by the public and in the County law library. In addition the Clerk of <br />Council has copies available for distribution to the public at cost. <br />1305.03 CONFLICT. <br />Except as otherwise specifically provided for in this chapter, in all other cases of conflict <br />between the One and Two Family Dwelling Code and any other City ordinance or technical <br />code adopted thereby, the more restrictive provision shall govern. <br />. ..,,n~~. ~ , _. <br />
