AGREEMENT <br />between <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO <br />and <br />ESTABROOK, INC. <br />for <br />MICROSCREEN REHABILITATION SERVICES <br />at the <br />NORTH OLMSTED WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT (WWTP) <br />y1 <br />THIS AGREEMENT made as of the ~~' day of arc ~ ~ , 1997 by <br />and between the City of NORTH OLMSTED hereinafter called the CITY, and <br />ESTABROOK, INC., 700 West Bagley Road, Berea, Ohio , 44017, hereinafter called the <br />CONTRACTOR, is hereby set out as to terms and conditions. <br />WHEREAS, the CITY desires to improve the five tertiary microscreens at the <br />North Olmsted WWTP by having designed mechanical modifications to the existing <br />configuration of the center support tube, by repairing center support tube end bearing <br />wear sleeves for each microscreen and by modifying the configuration of the each center <br />support tube to in accordance with the mechanical design; <br />WHEREAS, the CONTRACTOR has the demonstrated mechanical engineering <br />ability to design mechanical modifications to WWTP equipment such as a microscreen <br />center support tubes (i.e. center column pipes) and demonstrated machining expertise to <br />repair center support tubes; to remove worn existing center support tube sleeves; to <br />manufacture and install new center support tube sleeves; to manufacture new support tube <br />split collars; to manufacture new inlet support flanges and bearings; and to renovate the <br />existing outlet housings and bearings; and <br /> <br />
