., y <br />*Pe .: - <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98- 143 <br />BY: MAYOR MUSIAL AND THE ENTIRE COUNCII, <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORiZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER <br />INTO A CONTRACT WTTH THE CUYAHOGA COUNTY <br />GENERAL HEALTH DISTRICT FOR THE YEAR 1999, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted, under O.R.C. 53709,08 is a member of the <br />General Health District of Cuyahoga County; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted must enter into a contract for the year 1999 <br />for health services to be performed by the Cuyahoga County Health district. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OffiO: <br />SECTION 1: The Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to enter into a contract, a <br />copy of which is attached hereto and marked Exhibit "A", with the Cuyahoga County <br />General Health District to provide health services to the City ofNorth Olmsted from <br />January l, 1999 to December 31, 1999, <br />SECTION 2: That a copy of this Resolution shall be forwarded to the Director of <br />Finance for authority to pay semi-annual payments under the provisions of this contract. <br />SECTIQN 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for <br />the further reason that it is immediately necessary for the continuity of health services to the <br />residents of this City, and further, provided it received the afFirrnative vote of two-thirds of <br />all Members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage. <br />? , ????? ???.??«??.??„ • ?a : ?.? ,..? ?, ,. ?:... . „ , ,:: . _ . , : ? r ?;_,;
