• ! <br /> <br />? <br />v? <br />JOB DESCRIPTION: <br />POSITION TITLE: <br />RESPONSIBLE TO: <br />MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: <br />High School graduate or equivalent. <br />RECEPTIONIST/PBX OPERATOR <br />MAYOR'S SECRETARY <br />Knowledge of office terminology, procedure and equipment. <br />Some experience as a telephone switchboard operator. <br />? <br />DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: <br />Monitor, answer and screen all incoming calls. Transfer calls and messages to appropriate <br />individuals, departments or extensions. Answer questions from the public and provide information to <br />caller. May act as a reference or refecral service to individuals calling for routine assistance. Write <br />and forward message to staff or department to whom calls could not be forwarded. Greet visitors, <br />schedule appointrnents if required; perform general clerical tasks such as typing, faxing, copy <br />machine, mail machine, letter folding machine and perform mail room duties as assigned. Perform <br />other duties as assigned. <br />?
